My Saturday spent at Lam Ta Khong Dam

Last Saturday, I joined the Theology Department to their outdoor worship at Lam Ta Khong Dam.

This dam is about 45 minutes to an hour ride from Mission College. There are lots of shelter, small gardens and pathways for you to walk and enjoy nature.

There's even a mini ampitheater/colloseum-like place for people to hang. This is where we have our worship until it became really hot.

When you’re at the Dam, you can’t help but to be mesmerized by the trees, the clouds and the vast lake. Here are some of my favorite shots:

Don't you just love the colors here? Someone should use this particular setting for a lifestyle photo shoot.

Strong rain and wind follow after. Our afternoon was spent running from one shelter to another.

A change of weather when the rain hits. Spot the little boat on the right.

It was nice break to just get away. I should probably do this more often so I don’t go insane, haha. Anyway, second post will be on the people in this trip. Stay tuned!

  1. I luv the picture of the trees and clouds (nice shots!), and also the thought that Sabbath worship was done in a different setting. We need a change of things once in awhile =)

  2. thanks, tina! πŸ™‚ yabah sometimes we need a change of perspective…even just being in a different environment helps to make life more colorful πŸ™‚
